Hand washing needs are primary in people’s minds. Current hand washing in retail stores and businesses can be out of the way and inconvenient to access, with limited capacity. In addition, existing hand washing stations can be placed very close together, which makes it difficult to practice recommended physical distancing.
Acorn Engineering Company’s Eco-Trough sink offers additional hand washing capacity with the option for physical distancing. This unit can be specified with one to four hand washing stations and offers an easier and less expensive alternative to installing multiple single basins.

The Eco-Trough can be provided with up to four hand washing stations at child (30”) or adult caregiver (34”) height and can be easier to provide and more cost-effective than sourcing and installing individual hand washing sinks. The units feature16 gage, type 304 stainless steel construction and can be used indoors or out.
When social distancing is needed, stations can be disabled to place users further apart. The stations and re-enabled later when distancing regulations are relaxed. The unit is wall-mounted; optional front legs are available in two heights (30” and 34”) to add strength and stability.
