Secur-Care® Ligature-Resistant Fixed Shower Seat - Front Mount

Stainless Steel Fixed Shower Seat is intended to be mounted to a finished wall from the front for installation in areas of high security. Engineered to reduce possible risk of the fixture being used as a ligature device.

Ligature-resistant design incorporates overall dimensions for Rectangular Shower Seat as shown in ADA Guidelines [610.3; 610.3.1]. Manufacturer makes no claims given that the security and ligature-resistant design is not a "folding type." Compliance for accessibility is subject to the interpretation and requirements of the Local Code Authority (AJH).

Seat is welded, seamless construction and fabricated from 14 gauge type 304 stainless steel with exposed surfaces polished to a #4 satin finish.

Mounting utilizes a concealed heavy gauge S-Clip Mounting Bracket for hanging seat at top and includes an exposed Lower Flange for attaching seat to wall. Recommended Wall Mounting Hardware and Wall Anchors shall be 3/8" (9.5 mm) diameter and are provided by others to suit wall construction and meet minimum load ratings of 250 lbs (113 kg). Exposed Fasteners should be vandal-resistant design.
