ASSE 1016-Compliant Type 8 T/P Balancing Commercial Shower Valve

The ASSE 1016-Compliant Type 8 T/P balancing commercial shower valve automatically mixes hot and cold water to deliver blended water within a specified range. An advanced thermal actuator allows the valve to quickly compensate for temperature fluctuations caused by water temperature and pressure changes.

In the event of cold water failure, the thermostatic motor virtually shuts off the flow of hot water.

The Type 8 commercial shower valve meets the most stringent performance criteria for temperature and pressure changes, as defined by ASSE 1016 (Rev. 2011), providing uncompromised bather safety and comfort for any tub/shower application.

• IAPMO certified at 1.25 gallons (4.7 liters) per minute control accuracy requirements of ASSE 1016 T/P

• A self-contained, field reversible cartridge eliminates cross-piping and offsetting of valves in back-to-back type installation

• Integral check stops to isolate individual valves for servicing and to prevent backflow
