Secur-Care® Ligature-Resistant Front Access Flush Mount Security Shower - ADA Compliant
Ligature Resistant Shower is arranged to be installed on finished wall and serviced through removable front access panel. Mounting frame is provided. Fixture is fabricated from 14 gauge, type 304 stainless steel with a #4 satin finish.
The shower is designed to meet the needs for ligature-resistance, ADA and rigorous demands of security facilities.
This product is designed to decrease the probability that it may be utilized as an apparatus for ligature. It is not a replacement for professionals who are trained in the proper evaluation, management, and supervision of persons at risk of suicide. Typical ligature-resistant features include conical showerheads, activation pushbuttons are hemispherical.
The fixture features dual showerheads, the lower showerhead is designed to facilitate those in wheelchairs. The hemispherical pushbuttons operate with less than 5 pounds (2.27 kg) of force. Please check with local ADA requirements. ADA compliance is subject to proper installation (including devices such as grab bars) and the interpretations of the local code authority.
