Wall-Mounted, Folding ADA-Compliant Detention Desk
This wall-mounted detention desk is ADA compliant and designed to fold up when not in use to increase the amount of available space in the cell. Stowed in the upright position, the desk protrudes only 3-5/8" (92 mm) from the wall.
The swiveling mounting assembly, constructed from 14-gauge type 304 stainless steel and measuring 28"W x 8-1/4"H x 3-5/8"D (711 mm x 211 mm x 92 mm), supports a 24"W x 19"D (610 mm x 483 mm) desk surface of 12-gauge type 304 stainless steel. An Enviro-Glaze ® powder coat is optionally available.
The desk will support a 1,000-pound static load in the deployed position. When folded up, the entire assembly measures 22-1/4"H (564 mm).
A 12" (305 mm) diameter floor-mounted, stainless steel prison stool is sold separately.
