This stainless steel security detox toilet, is typically mounted in the floor in detoxificaiton cells, padded cells, and isolation cells where conventional toilets may present a hazard to inmates. Installation is recommended outside traffic area and as close to the remote flush valve as practical. The fixture is wall supply blowout jet type toilet

Recommended for installation in detoxification cells (drunk tanks), padded safety cells, isolation cells, and similar locations where conventional toilets may present a hazard to the inmate. The location for the toilet should be out of the traffic pattern and as close to the remote located flush valve as practical.

The toilet is configured for remote flush valves operating at either 1.6 gallons (6 liters) or 3.5 gallons (13.25 liters) per flush. The California Energy Commission (CEC) does allow 3.5 gallons (13.25 liters) per flush for Acorn Detox Toilets used in prison or jail facilities. Check with the local code authority for confirmation.

Flush Valve Details: Flush valve (and Hot and Cold Hose Box to wash down Cell Floor) are commonly mounted in the wall outside the Cell and are specified separately. Fixture is commonly specified with a Recessed Wall Box housing a Remote Flush Valve - see model 2803-1. When a plumbing chase exists, model 2898 Flush Valve Access Panel is recommended. Flush Valve must be located within 12 feet of Toilet Fixture.
